something we have not taken time to explore - and we are wondering if the other #plural folks here have - is if this (website? app? fediverse?) supports multi-profile? or do we need separate accounts? i suppose we could share, but i have always liked having my own personal space.

@glabemoon You would need to have separate accounts, but most (I’d dare to say “all”) apps that support ActivityPub natively support multiple accounts.

@glabemoon i'm sure instance admins will allow for multiple accounts! as for multi profile, i don't think so sadly. i just change my icon and the emote in front of my name every time i change front hehe

@spdx_wl @glabemoon I absolutely will allow multiple accounts for system members myself - I would want to know what accounts they are you'd want to make, and I'd count all members of a system as one account in terms of my global registration limit (so, I guess, my "about 30 to start" number is more like "about 30 systems".)

However, do note that should one member of a system do something bad enough to necessitate taking action, I would be applying it system-wide, so you would be responsible for each other. I think this is only fair, since it'd be way too easy for one headmate to use another's account to bypass restrictions.

Thanks for asking - I dunno why I hadn't thought about it, being part of a plural system myself (although we all tend to just talk under my account.) Sometime today I'll go and add this to the node terms.

@glabemoon oh and depending on the frontend, custom css is supported - i know gotosocial (our instance backend) supports custom css but it's a bit roundabout. on gotosocial, it's accessible via the /settings subdir of the instance
