the way i add tags, btw, is appending small text with the tags contained to my posts. i think others that use akkoma do this too. you can do this:

@vision @cyclar2 the "correct" way is the small html tag but you can put anything in a div tag and due to "decisions"(probably bugs tbh) it will wrap everything in an unformatted p tag that seems to be smaller than default on most platforms

@vision @cyclar2 i tried to div wrap a block of text yesterday with a plaid background in css so that would be a good metric but i think gts didn't actually put it into the post
