one small annoying thing about website league currently is that (most of the time) there is no distinction between what would have been a comment on cohost, and what would’ve been a quoted post.

so you get the option of having your feed clogged up with lots of small comments. or you can get rid of those, but then you lose the actual meaty replies too

akkoma has both replies and quotes, which might solve this problem. I don’t know if quotes count as replies or not. but if not, ya, that solves the problem. but gts does not have quotes, unfortunately, so for now that only helps akkoma users

@mae quotes do not count as replies, no, they’re their own thing that lives in a new post (and they do have fallbacks for instances that don’t support them)
