unrelated to my current predicament - clipchamp is goddamn awful. so in light of that

does anyone know of some like, free and actually decent to use video editors?

all i need to do is clip the starts and ends of around 10 videos and then stitch them together back to back with no gaps between them.

@KaydeArcane if all you want to do is clip videos then avidemux is nice. as for a full editor, i’ve used shotcut and it was fine.

@mae another friend of mine also suggested shotcut so i will absolutely check that one out!

@KaydeArcane I personally tend to just use blender’s video editor, it tends to be Good Enough for simple tasks like that and I already have it downloaded since I use blender anyways

@adam i honestly didn’t know that blender had a video editor in it..! then again i barely understand blender as is

@KaydeArcane I've found the Olive video editor to be pretty decent for that sort of thing, if it helps any!

@tamber I ended up being able to get it done with shotcut, but I’ll keep olive in mind for if I need to do something else and can’t get it done with shotcut! thank u ^^
