finally making the leap to use linux on my main desktop instead of just my laptop

previously i had been dual booting with Win 10 and Win 11– i have no use for Win 10 anymore outside of using my cracked Ableton install, so i’m replacing it. that being said, i have no idea which distro i’m going with, and distrochooser did not help that much ;w;

@nwenny I personally tend to recommend endeavour os (which is basically arch with a pretty installer), arch may be harder to set up initially, but it’ll definitely reduce pain in the long term

I also tend to recommend it knowing that issues might happen and interactive support may be needed sometimes, so if you ever need help with it and the wiki/forums don’t answer your questions, feel free to reach out

@adam i was thinking about using Arch or an Arch based system, i’ll definitely take a look and see if it’s something i’m into :V

i’m pretty much used to digging through wikis and forums for troubleshooting purposes but i’ll keep that in mind! tysm
